This is a favorite sales interview question for trainee-type sales jobs. The answer to the “sell me this product” question could express your ability to know customer’s demands, to select key features of the product and to bring the benefits to customers.

The prominent features not only attract customer’s attention but brings turnover. A basic of selling is to sell the benefits customers will gain from the product rather than the list of features the product has.
Inexperienced candidates in sales will often make list all the attributes of the pen without studying customer’s demand and wants or giving explanation on the benefits of product features.
